About Curtain Workshop
Sabina Capone established her own soft furnishings business in 1982, when looking for something creative she could fit around her two young children. She had always loved creating soft furnishings and interior designs, so when a friend commissioned her to make curtains and blinds for her home, Curtain Workshop was born.
Having long since outgrown Sabina’s living room, the firm currently operates out of more suitable premises on the Faircharm Trading Estate. But the company’s ideals of personal service and strict attention to detail have not changed.
| " As a family business we know how much people’s homes mean to them, and we believe in making a little bit of quality affordable for everyone." |
"We are really proud of our personal, friendly and comprehensive approach to working with people in their homes. Rest assured, we will work to match your taste and your needs with your pocket, and complete the job right up to the tracks and fitting. Put simply, we are not happy until you are delighted.”
As well as making elegant curtains and soft furnishings at affordable prices, Curtain Workshop’s designs are always focused on the practical, and even the most intricate fittings are designed to be easily removed, cleaned and replaced.
| Some of Sabina’s more unusual recent challenges have included fabric walls, tented ceilings and exotic bed hangings, and large projects for major clients such as the Canadian High Commission and Southwark Borough Council. |
