Choosing Curtains
The first stage in transforming your windows is to choose the look and feel you want to create in a given room. For example: is it functional? Or for show? Do you need blackout lining, or even blinds rather than curtains?

Other questions to consider are:
How much do you want to spend? Do you wish to “raise” a low window to make it look higher, or perhaps hang curtains to floor length to cleverly give the illusion of heightening a room? All these decisions need careful consideration.
And then there’s the effect of colour. For example, dark colours contract, light colours expand. How will this affect your designs? |
